SugarPea Designs – September Sweet Peek Week Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of the Sweet Peek Week blog hop for SugarPea Designs‘ September release. We’re counting down the days until this Friday’s release! Each day this week the design team will showcase new products from the release, which will be available Friday, September 13th at 6PM EDT. Follow along the blog hop and comment for a chance to win.

Note: Product links will not work until release day Friday, September 13th.

For this card I did some masking, stamping, and stenciling. I used the Hey Winter stamp set and stamped on a couple of full-stick post-its to create masks (I did not use them, but coordinating dies are available too). I then stamped out my scene and applied the masks. After inking the background I used the Falling Snow stencil on the background with MFT Sno Cone ink.

Next, I pulled off all the masks and the masking tape and colored the scene with Copic.

Grays: W9, W7, W5, W3, W1, W00. Brown: E43, E42, E41, E40. Red: R39, R29, R24. R22

Once colored I used the smaller of the Postage Stamp SugardCuts (previous release) to cut out the scene. On a separate piece of white cardstock I used the Geo Snowflake stencil to ink another background.

On a sheet of Gina K Red Hot cardstock, I white heat embossed a sentiment from the stamp set. I assembled all of the pieces onto a white card base and embellished with a white gel pen.

Blog Hop & Giveaway!

  1. Your using this stamp set bundle and stencils has made a terrific creation. I love the whimsey and the colors… not to mention the excitement of upcoming holidays.
