SugarPea Designs – September Sweet Peek Week Day 3

Welcome to day 3 of the Sweet Peek Week blog hop for SugarPea Designs‘ September release. We’re counting down the days until this Friday’s release! Each day this week the design team will showcase new products from the release, which will be available Friday, September 13th at 6PM EDT. Follow along the blog hop and comment for a chance to win.

Note: Product links will not work until release day Friday, September 13th.

For this design, I used the SPD Christmas Car SugardCut and several styles of Tonic cardstock. First, I used the whole die (intact/uncut) to cut once using Tonic Glitter Card in Sugar Crystal and then in Tonic Mirror Card in Chrome Silver. Using the car die to trace the outline onto a panel of white cardstock, I fussy cut outline to create a base. I applied dot runner adhesive all over the base and then assembled the car.

After, I die cut again several times using Tonic Specialty Papers in Ruby Gemstone, Tonic Pearlescent Card in Onyx Black, and Tonic Glitter Card in Turquoise Lake.

Using Turquoise Lake and Sugar Crystal glitter cardstocks I die cut using the SPD Merry Word With Shadow SugarCuts and glued them together.

I die cut a panel using Gina K Kraft cardstock with the SPD Card Front Element Builder Sugarcut (prior release), and inked the SPD Falling Snow stencil using white pigment ink on the panel. I adhered all the pieces together on a white card base and embellished with white Nuvo Drops.

Be sure to leave a comment along the blog hop by September 14th and you’ll have a chance to win one of five giveaways. Winners will be announced on Sunday, September 15th. Check out the SugarPea Designs blog for details.
