Hi friends. Today I am showing a card I made using several products from Pretty Pink Posh. The PPP Bear Friends stamp set is part of the current release and I wanted to move a bit away from autumn colors for this one.
I knew I wanted to use the PPP Window Frames die to showcase the scene, so I first traced the inner border of the larger frame onto a panel of white cardstock. This gave me the boundaries I needed to lay out the scene.
I cut masks of the stamps I wanted to use and stamped my scene onto the panel. After stamping, I applied the masks and used a blending brush to ink blend Distress Inks (Milled Lavender, Shaded Lilac, and Blueprint Sketch).
After ink blending, I removed the masks and used Copic markers to color the scene.
Bears: E47, E44, E43, E42, E41, E53, E51, E50. Paws: W9, W5. Bow Tie and Butterfly: R89, R85, R81. Honey: YR27, YR24, YR31. Honey Pot: E18, YR27, Y15. Shadows: T5, T3. Grass Blades: BV04, BV08.
I used the larger of the PPP Window Frames die to cut out the scene and on a separate piece of white cardstock I lightly stenciled a portion of the background using the PPP Brush Strokes stencil with Milled Lavender and Shaded Lilac.
Before adhering the pieces together onto a white card base, I stamped the “bear hugs” sentiment on the panel using Versafine Onyx black ink. I popped the panel up using some thin foam and glued it to the card base.
