Hi crafters! I’m excited to share that I am guest designing for Purple Onion through November! I adore this new Pine Cone Trail collection by Stacey Yacula.
For this one-layer card I did some masking and used Copic markers (lots of them!) to create an adorable winter scene for the holidays.
After stamping out my scene using Milk Chocolate ink from MFT, I grabbed a ton of markers and colored it:
E74, E71, E70, E47, E44, E42, E41 (Tree trunks and hedgehog)
E55, E53, E51, E50 (Bunny, Mouse)
W5, W3, W1, W0 (Squirrel)
G43, G40, G99, G85 (Trees)
B37, B34, B32, BV17, BV28, BV34 (Accessories)
C5, C3, C1, C2, C0, C00, 0, B0000, B00 (Snow, Shadows)
B91, B93, B95 (Sky)
After coloring I used a white gel pen and dotted snow all over the card as well as piles around their feet and skis. I cut a mat background from PTI Spring Rain cardstock and adhered to a white cardbase.
This amazing release is available now in the Purple Onion Designs shop! Be sure to stop by and check out all the other items from the collection.
