Pretty Pink Posh – Amaryllis

Hi friends! I’m back with another holiday card using Pretty Pink Posh’s current release. This beautiful Amaryllis stamp set is too fun not to do masking, but it does also come with a coordinating dies.

I began by cutting masks for all of the stamps in the set. For stamps I planned on using more than once, I cut additional masks. After stamping the panel, I used Copic markers to color the flowers, leaves, and stems.

I colored lightest-to darkest and then darkest-to-lightest.

Copic: R01, R22, R05, R29, R59, Y08, G29, G46, G43, YG01

After the coloring was finished I reapplied all of the masks and used Amsterdam Acrylic Ink to flick gold onto the background. After drying, I trimmed the panel and applied it to a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of Poppy cardstock from MFT. I adhered that to a white card base.

For the two smallest Amaryllis flowers, I cut them out and popped them up with thin foam squares. Lastly, on a sheet of Lawn Fawn Black Licorice cardstock, I heat embossed a sentiment from the Winter Wreath stamp set using Brutus Monroe Alabaster and popped it up on the card.
