Yup. There’s no way this one is getting mailed. Hi crafters! I did a little die cutting and paper piecing that I’d like to share. This 9×4 (ish) card uses many dies from Pretty Pink Posh.
To begin I cut a panel of white cardstock to 9×4 (final card will fit in a #10 envelope). I selected several blue-green cardstocks for the color palette. Lawn Fawn – Peacock, The Stamp Market – Tropic Teal, Papertrey Ink – Aqua Mist, and Simon Says Stamp – Audrey Blue. I cut a couple of banners from each color (and white) using the chevron die from the PPP Stacked Edges 2 die set. I then adhered them to the panel.
Next, I used the PPP Stitched Poinsettias die set to cut out several smaller poinsettias using the same cardstocks and used liquid adhesive to assemble them. After I adhered them to the card panel along with some pine sprigs from the PPP Pine Sprigs die set.
For the sentiment, I used a stamp from the PPP Winter Wreath stamp set. I white heat embossed it onto a stip of Tropic Teal cardstock. After that, I cut a medium-sized diamond from the PPP Stitched Diamonds die set to lay behind the sentiment strip. I then adhered them to the card panel.
Lastly, I adhered the card panel to the card base and embellished with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Calming Aqua.
