Simon Says Stamps DieCember

Happy DieCember crafters! Are you ready for a ton of amazing dies from Simon Says Stamp. I was able to take a needed breath from creating holiday cards to create this colorful encouragement card.

For this card I began by watercoloring a background using Mijello Mission Gold Watercolors. The color payout is amazing considering I only did a single layer of watercolor. After drying the background with my heat tool, I used sentiment die from the SSS The Best Is Yet To Come die set. I then used the shadow die from the set and black cardstock to cut out the shadow. I also cut it out using white cardstock. Using the same black cardstock I die cut a panel using the Waffle Flower A2 Layers Die set. I also used a smaller layer to cut a panel from the rainbow background. The last die cut was the clouds from the SSS Picture Book Sky Background die.

To assemble, I glued the sentiment to the black shadow and adhered that to white shadow offset a bit. I glued the rainbow panel to the black panel and popped it up with fun foam and attached it to the card based.

I glued on the clouds and used a Tonic Aqua Shimmer pen to add a bit of sparkle to them.
