This month, I took inspiration from both sides of the sketch, but you only need to choose one. To begin, I chose a couple of colors of red cardstock and cut strips. The colors are PTI Pure Poppy and GK Red Hot. I also cut white cardstock strips and glued them onto a card panel. I cut a 4.25 x 5.5″ panel of PTI Pure Poppy and used a Tonic Aqua Shimmer pen on both the stips and mat of this color.

Next, I used the SPD Treescape Sugar Cut and die cut 3 white and one PTI Pure Poppy. I adhered them together offsetting the red color. I then used a stamp from the SPD Oh So Jolly stamp set and stamped it on the tree panel using Versafine Black Onyx ink. I used a MISTI so I could restamp the sentiment with Versamark embossing ink and I then used a clear embossing powder to give the sentiment shine and dimension.

For the bear, I used a stamp from the SPD Hey Winter stamp set, colored with Copic markers and die cut using the SPD Hey Winter coordinating dies.

Copic: E44, E43, E42, E41, E50, C9, C5

I adhered the bear to the background and glued the treescape over them. Lastly, I embellished using Studio Katia Gold Foil Pearls.
