SugarPea Designs – December Sweet Peek Week Day 5

It’s release day! All week the design team over at SugarPea Designs have been showcasing their beautiful designs from this wonderful new release. I hope you’ve enjoyed the blog hop and are leaving your comments along the way. You might just win a gift certificate to the store! Check out the SugarPea Designs blog for more information on the hop.

For the final card of the blog hop, I did a bit of heart stamping. On a panel of white cardstock, I stamped and overlapped solid hearts from the SPD Heart Prints stamp set using a variety of inks: SSS Rosie Cheeks, Catherine Pooler – Coral Cabana, Hero Arts – Raspberry Jam, SSS – Watermelon, and SSS – Apricot.

I stamped a sentiment on the panel using Versafine Onyx black ink. On the center heart, I used a second heart stamp to overstamp it with Versamark ink and heat emboss using clear embossing powder. Lastly, I stamped some random hearts on the card using a stamp from the SPD Love Machine stamp set.

Product links will not work until release day, December 13, 2019. 6PM EST

For the envelope, I used a SPD envelope in Scarlet O’Hara. I took a sheet of patterned paper from the SPD Holiday Patterned Paper Collection and used the SPD Envelope Liner die to cut a fun interior for the envelope.

Blog Hop & Giveaway!

  1. I really dig how you created the effect on the middle heart with the embossing powder and versa ink! That is unique, dimensional, and so fun! I like the envelope liner too! Such great paper!
