Pond Friends & Hearts Stencil
My first project is a card made with the Pond Friends stamp set and coordinating dies, and the Hearts stencil. I began by cutting a panel from PTI Rustic Cream cardstock and stenciling a background using inks from Altenew – Velvet and Rouge. On a sheet of Lawn Fawn Vanilla Malt cardstock, I stamped the swan and hearts images and colored with Copic warm grays.
I then die cut the swans using the coordinating dies and white heat embossed a sentiment onto black cardstock. I used a couple of dies from the Waffle Flower A2 dies and cut out a frame from the hearts background. Lastly, I adhered everything to a white cardbase, and used foam squares to pop up the swans and heart. I embellished using Pretty Pink Posh Graphite Jewels.
Birthday Frame & Party Friends
I just love the frames that Paulina releases! They’re so fun to color and this one was no exception. For this card, I die cut the Birthday Frame die three times from white cardstock and then used 1/2″ iCraft Purple Tape to tape the edges of one of the die cuts (so I didn’t accidentally color into it). I then colored using Copic markers.
After coloring the frame I adhered all 3 together so there would a bit of dimension on the final card. I stamped and colored the Lion from the Party Friends stamp set onto a piece of white cardstock and colored with Copic. After, I applied a mask to the lion and ink blended the background using SSS Key Lime and Hero Arts Green Apple inks. I adhered the frames to the card panel and embellished with jewels from the Pretty Pink Posh Citrus Mix.
Large Floral Hearts
For my final card today, I used the Large Floral Hearts stamp set and coordinating dies. This is a wonderful set that sparked a lot of ideas. To begin, I stamped the heart onto some white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I die cut it as well as 3 more for again, dimension in the card. I also used a few of the smaller stamps in the set to color and die cut those as well.
The larger heart was cut from SSS Audrey blue and I did a bit of line work with a darker Copic. I adhered everything together and attached it to a white card base using foam squares for the smaller purple flowers. Finally, I embellished using PPP Pearl White Jewels.
