Hi crafters! I’m back with another card from Pretty Pink Posh. This card showcases the Love stamps and coordinating dies. A perfect duo for your Valentine’s Day cards and it can be used in so many different ways.
For this card I used a combination of Copic markers and Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. I grabbed several colors of Papertrey Ink cardstock: Sweet Blush, Lovely Lady, and Berry Sorbet. I stamped the large Love stamp onto Sweet Blush and the smaller icon stamps onto Neenah Solar White cardstock. Next, I chose some light colored Copic markers to color a base on the images and then deepened the colors with like-colored Polychromos pencils.
On a panel of white cardstock, I randomly applied light washes of Tattered Rose and Abandon Coral Distress Oxide inks using a blender brush. On top of that background I flicked the same colors with a paint brush after mixing with a few drops of water and I set the background aside to dry.
To assemble, I first die cut all of the images (I had way more than I needed), and cut down the inked background and some Berry Sorbet cardstock. Next, I die cut the Love again using Lovely Lady twice and stacked them together offsetting the stamped Love.
I used foam tape to pop up the Love panel and then added some of the smaller icon stamps under that panel. I used a few Nuvo Crystal Drops in Bubblegum Blush to embellish.
