Pretty Pink Posh – Crocus

I love this stencil! The PPP Crocus stencil is part of the new March release at Pretty Pink Posh and there are so many ways to use this. For this card I did a bit of masking, inking and coloring.

To begin, I grabbed a panel of white 80# cardstock. On the PPP Crocus stencil, I masked off areas so that I could first ink the flowers I wanted to use. I used Hero Arts ink in Red Royal, Raspberry Jam, and Grape Juice to ink the petals.

After, I removed the tape from the masked areas and reapplied to just reveal the leaves I wanted to use. I used Hero Arts Inks in Green Hills and Antigua.

After, I grabbed some coordinating Polychromos pencils in 194, 158, and 125 and sketched a little dimension on the petals and leaves.

I then put the panel onto my scoreboard and carefully scored the white areas of the inked panel. I then cut down the panel and used foam tape to adhere it to a card base made from Tayolored Expressions Sea Salt cardstock.

I chose the sentiment from the PPP Hedgehog Friends stamp set and white heat embossed it onto black cardstock. I used thin foam squares to adhere that to the inked panel. To embellish I used PPP Marshmallow Confetti Mix.
