Good morning, crafters. Today, I’m joining in the Stock Your Stash challenge with Reverse Confetti. The theme for July is Oh, Baby and today I’m featuring a gender-neutral card on the off chance there’s a human left that doesn’t find out the gender of their baby prior to birth. 😆
To begin, I stamped the Koala bears and some flowers from the Bear Hugs stamp set onto a panel of Neenah Solar White 80# cardstock and die cut them using the coordinating dies. After, I colored with Copic markers:
- Bears: W7, W5, W3, W1, W00, R30
- Tree: E44, E42, E42, YG63, YG21
- Flower: YR21, Y15
After coloring, I set them aside and chose three pattered papers from the Fun Times Paper Pad, and Pattern Play Paper Pad and used the (retired, so sorry! I didn’t realize until I was done) Triple Chevies Confetti Cut to die cut each paper twice with the die.
After cutting, I used a dot runner to adhere them to a white card base and then trimmed off any excess. I next die cut the Diagonal Stitches Cover Panel using a piece of white cardstock and trimmed it down before adhering it to the card base.
To finish up, I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Bear Hugs stamp set onto Gina K Jelly Bean Green cardstock. I adhered everything to the card base with glue except for the big bear, which I used Thin Foam Circles.
