Good morning, crafters. Today, I’m joining in the Stock Your Stash challenge with Reverse Confetti. The theme for August is Wedding and today I’m sharing a card I made using Cake & Champagne stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts.
To begin, I stamped the cake and floral accessories onto Bristol Smooth cardstock using Gina K Amalgam ink in Obsidian. Next, I chose some Zig Clean Color Real Brush pen colors: 80, 82, 50, 28, and 41. Using a number 2 watercolor brush I deposited color on the stamped images and used the brush and water to paint them. After coloring all of the images, I die cut them and set aside.
On a panel of Papertrey Ink cardstock in Lavender Moon, I stamped a background using the Background Builder stamp set and Lavender Moon ink. I then ink blended a corner of the background for dimension. Next, I white heat embossed a sentiment from the Cake & Champagne stamp set on the background and then adhered it to a white card base.
Using glue, I adhered the cake pieces together and then used small and large foam squares to pop it up on the background. I finished up by adding some detail with a white gel pen.
