It’s here! It’s here! It’s here!
That’s right, folks! It’s September 1st and we know what that means! STAMPtember with Simon Says Stamp! In addition to a massive release for the month, Simon Says Stamp in collaboration with many of your favorite companies are releasing sets all month long!
Today, I’m sharing a card I made using a new product from Simon’s new release available now in the shop. The new Mix & Match Circles stamp set is fun and as you can see you can use it for many occasions. I used it to make a Christmas card.
To begin, I cut a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of Evergreen cardstock from Concord & 9th and inked the edges using Distress Ink in Black Soot. I then chose a stamp from the new Mix & Match Circles stamp set and a sentiment from the previously released Holiday Greetings Mix 1 stamp set to gold heat emboss on the panel using Hero Arts Gold embossing powder. To make the shape an ornament I used a Versamark Pen (and ruler) to add a faux string and heat embossed that as well.
I then adhered the panel to a white card base using glue and added a red ribbon bow to the bottom of the “string”.
Join us for our fun STAMPtember® Facebook Lives throughout the month. The first one is September 1st at noon EDT, and then every Friday at noon EDT—4th, 11th, 18th, 25th. Find more inspiration on the Simon Says Stamp Gallery for STAMPtember or on their blog!
