Hi friends. Today, I’m sharing a card I made using several fun Spellbinders products. I love this beautiful Kaleidoscope Christmas Tree die set. This was also my first time using my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System (even though I bought it a year ago).
To begin, I die cut the tree from Bazzil Candy Necklace, and Jawbreaker cardstocks. The top layer is Simon Says Stamp Silver Glitter cardstock. I also cut the star for the tree with the same three cardstocks and then glued the pieces together.
On a panel of Bazzil Robin’s Egg cardstock, I foiled using the largest rectangle from the Spellbinders Christmas Essential Glimmer Rectangles and Matte Silver Glimmer Hot Foil. They make a matte gold and silver and I do like the matte finishes. A definite must for your collection because it’s nice to have options from the mirrored foils. I wanted the glitter of the tree to draw the eye.
On a scrap of Candy Necklace cardstock, I used the same foil to foil a sentiment from the Spellbinders Holiday Sentiments Series 2 set and adhered it to the background panel with thin foam tape. I adhered the tree and star to the background with glue and then adhered the background panel to a white card base.
To embellish I used Sparkling Clear Jewels from Pretty Pink Posh.
That’s it for today’s project. I will be using the glimmer system more as I recently joined the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month Club.
