Clearly Besotted – Creepy Corners

Hi friends. I’m back with another Halloween card using the Creepy Corners stamp set from Clearly Besotted.

To begin, I cut down a piece of 80# cardstock to 5″ x 5″. I used the MISTI to stamp and after stamping the cardstock, I also stamped onto Gina K Masking Magic. I cut out the masks and set aside and then colored the stamped images with Copic markers.

After coloring, I applied the masks and then inked using Distress Inks in Dried Marigold, Rusty Hinge, Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot. After inking I watered down a blob of white gouache and flicked it onto the inked panel (masks were still on images).

Next, I removed the masks and cut down the panel to 4.5″ x 4.5″ and adhered the panel to a 5″ x “5 card base. On a scrap of Hero Arts Pitch Black cardstock, I white heat embossed the sentiment and a couple of sub sentiments and then die cut the sentiment using the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circles set.

To finish the card, I popped up the main sentiment using foam squares and the sub sentiments using thin foam squares.

That’s it for today’s card. Thanks for stopping by.
