Hi, crafters. Today, I’m sharing a card made using a new stamp set available in the Purple Onion Designs shop. Halloween Friends from the Winslow & Rusty collection illustrated by Juilan Charlton is just too cute for candy.
To begin, I stamped the Halloween Friends stamp as well as the English Rooftops stamp from an earlier release onto masking paper and cut them out. On a 5×7 panel of white cardstock, I stamped the Halloween Friends stamp and then applied the mask and then stamped with the English Rooftops stamp. That stamp requires a couple of passes as it’s a solid stamp for the most part, so I recommend using your stamping tool.
Next, I removed the mask and colored with Copic markers:
- YG25, YG00, V17, V12 (Scarf)
- YG23, YG00, YG0000 (Ghost)
- E51, E53, E55, E57, E59 (Bear)
- E08, YR27, YR24, YR31, YR30 (Fox)
- T3, T1. T0 (Shadow)
After coloring, I applied the English Rooftops mask and then inked the sky using Distress ink in Wilted Violet and Twisted Citron.
Next, I stamped a sentiment from the set and then I cut down the panel to about 4.5x 6.5 and adhered to a 5 x 7 white card base using foam tape to pop up the image.
That’s it for today’s card. Be sure to visit the Purple Onion store to check out all of the stamps from this new collection.
