The Greetery – Banner & Bough

Hi, friends! Today, I’m sharing a card made with the Banner & Bough set from The Greetery. I really am blown away by these sets they make. The stencils, stamps, and dies are all amazing and work together seamlessly.

To begin, I (followed instructions!) inked the 4 stencils onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of 80# cardstock and then did the stamping. I used inks from Concord & 9th (side note: I just purchased the full-sized sets of these inks because I’m in love with the cubes!) in Grapefruit, Cranberry, Sprout, Parsley, evergreen, Stardust, Wheat, and Buttercup.

After the stenciling and stamping, I white heat embossed a sentiment. Next, I sprayed the 5th stencil (the shape of the stenciled/stamped image) with Pixie Spray and adhered it to my finished image so that I could ink blend the background. For the background I used inks from The Stamp Market (another fantastic line!) in Sea Glass, Island, and Navy. I flicked color on the background with the Navy and Island inks.

To finish up, I adhered the panel to a white card base and embellished with Studio Katia Gold Foil Pearls.

That’s it! Just pick your inks and go! I love how easy this card was, yet it’s so detailed and pretty. I tend to usually buy stamps that require coloring, but I’m forgetting how fun it is to just stamp. Thanks for stopping by.
