I knew I wanted to make a one-layer card, so I first stamped the adorable Sweet Snow Friends stamp onto a panel of 80# white cardstock and then stamped it onto masking paper.
After, I colored the image with Copic markers:
- Blues: B26, B24, B21
- Pinks: RV34, RV32, RV11
- Orange: YR18, YR15
- Grays: T8, T6, T3, T1, T0
- Snow: B0000, B000, B00
After coloring, I applied the mask to the stamp and used Pinkfresh Studio Inks to blend a background – Slumber, Sky Blue, Soft Lilac. I did put a piece of tape right above the snow so I didn’t ink blend onto the ground. Before removing the mask, I covered the bottom of the panel so I wouldn’t splatter onto it and I used Distress Paint in Picket Fence to create a light dusting of snow.
I removed the cover and the mask and then used the Copic to shade the snow on the ground. To finish up, I stamped a sentiment from the Holiday Messages Sentiment Set using Versafine Onyx Black ink and then adhered the card to a white card base. I glued a few Studio Katia Icy Sparkle Crystals to the background for some embellishing.
That’s all folks. It’s a pretty simple card. This is why I love this collection. You can create a simple card using one stamp, or you can us a lot of the stamps to make a fantastic scene.
See you on the next project, and thanks for stopping by.
