The Greetery – Bigger Blooms

Hi crafters! Today, I’m sharing a fun holiday card made featuring the Bigger Blooms stamp set from The Greetery. To begin I chose several ink colors:

Remember when you asked yourself if you really needed an extra MISTI? Well, I asked myself that several times and today they came in handy. I set up 2 MISTIs and 2 Mini MISTIs. The larger ones had the layers of blooms and the smaller had the filler and leaves. I stamped in many more colors than listed above; those just didn’t make the cut. After stamping a bunch of options, I die cut them with the Bigger Blooms coordinating dies and set aside.

Next, I cut a panel using Pinkfresh Studio Slim Stitched die set and lightly inked parts of it using TSM Tropic Teal. I then used the Joy stamps from The Greetery’s Written in Ribbons Holiday stamp set using TSM Tropic Teal and Jade and then cut with the coordinating dies. I die cut two extra from white cardstock and adhered them to the Joy sentiment for dimension. For the sub sentiment, I stamped directly onto the slimline panel using Versafine Onyx black ink.

I then adhered the die cut stamps onto the slimline panel using glue and thin foam dots and trimmed off any excess, and adhered to a card base made using TSM Jade cardstock. The cardstock is lightweight, so I cut a white panel for the inside of the card. This also helps with the inside greeting as the Jade cardstock is pretty dark. (However, writing in neon gel pens can be fun!)

For embellishment, I adhered sequins using the PPP Clear Sequin Mix and used Mustard Nuvo Drops on some of the flowers. I also accented a bit using a white gel pen.

That’s all for today’s card. This stamp set is beautiful and while I used it for a holiday card, it’s pretty holiday agnostic and can be used for many occasions. Take care and thanks for stopping by!
