Good morning, crafty folks! The Simon Says Stamp Love You release is now available in the shop! Today, I’m sharing a card made using the adorable Light Me Up stamp set from CZ Design.

To begin, I stamped the jar onto a panel of white cardstock and then again on a sheet of masking paper cut down to 4.25″ x 5.5″. I carefully cut out the jar as I needed both the positive and the negative.
On 5 sheets of full-stick Post-Its I stamped the large heart from the set as well as the lightning bug and cut them out.

I applied the negative mask around the jar and hand stamped the large heart using masks where the hearts overlapped. I then removed the masks and colored the hearts with Copic markers using R39, R29, R27, R24, R22, R21, and R20. Next I colored the candle using YR30, YR20, YR15, C5, C3, C1, and C00.
Next, I stamped a sentiment and then applied the positive of the jar mask onto the colored jar of hearts and lightly inked around jar using Lemon Whip ink from Pinkfresh Studio.

I quickly realized that I have no idea how to color glass and I need to take Sandy Allnock’s class on this. I’m off work from the 12/14 – Jan 4, so maybe I’ll work some classes in.
Be sure to check out the entire release and thanks for stopping by!
