Good morning, crafters! I’m sharing a fun birthday card using the MFT Pretty Princess stamp set. For this card I used the no-line coloring technique with Copic markers.
To begin, I stamped a princess from the stamp set using no-line coloring ink and colored with Copic markers:
- V000, V01, V12, V15 (Dress)
- E13, E11, E00, R32 (Skin)
- E35, E33, E31, E50 (Hair)
After coloring, I stamped the princess again onto masking paper, cut it out, and stuck it to the colored image. I then used Post-It tape to mask off the bottom of the card and inked the top of the card using Altenew Mountain Mist.

Next, I used the MFT Star Celebration stencil to add stars to the background using Altenew Volcano Lake ink.
Note: I didn’t notice until writing this blog that the stencil I used is retired; however, MFT does have a newer star stencil called Card-Sized Star Confetti stencil set.
Before removing the stencil, I sprayed Sheer Shimmer Spritz Spray in Sparkle from Imagine Crafts on top of it so that the stars were sparkly (and the background wouldn’t be).
To finish up, I stamped a sentiment and die cut the panel with the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics. I used foam tape to adhere the colored panel to a card base using TE Sea Salt cardstock.

That’s all for today. Will see you soon for another project. Thanks for stopping by.

Lovely card Adelle 🙂 Thanks for the inspiration!
